The Strategic Research Agenda for the Finnish maritime cluster 2017-2025 describes the future vision of the marine industry and influences the decision making processes nationally and in the European Union. Compilation and implementation of the strategic agenda is coordinated by the research committee. The agenda describes the most important research areas, divided into business areas and main themes. The key business areas are cruise vessels and ferries, offshore and Arctic technology, while the main themes are competence, energy and environment together with new business models.
