    Welcome to the Fairway Forward seminar on 1 September 2022! Let´s take a look forward and see what the future of maritime operations looks like in the years to come. The industry has set ambitious environmental goals – how will we reach emission reductions by 2030 and further, carbon neutrality by the year 2050? What are the latest trends in propulsion technology and fuels of the future? Fairway Forward, a collaboration between the Finnish and Swedish maritime clusters invites you to Vuosaari Harbour Center in Helsinki on 1.9. 2022, from 1 pm. (Finnish time), to hear best practice cases from industry leaders and views on the future by experts.

    Fairway Forward is a collaboration project between the Finnish and Swedish maritime clusters. Established in the beginning of 2019, the aim of the collaboration is to share best practices and collaborate to reach environmental and climate goals in the maritime sector. Participating organizations in Fairway Forward are Swedish Shipowners´ Association, Swedish Ports, Finnish Shipowners´ Association, Finnish Marine Industries, and Finnish Ports’ Association, together with the Finnish Port Operators Association.

    EU:n T&I-ohjelmat ja Suomen meriklusteri 27.1.

    Suomen Meriklusteri ja Business Finland järjestävät seminaarin ja työpajan Suomen meriklusterin toimijoille EU-osallistumisesta ja -vaikuttamisesta 27.1.

    Tilaisuuden tavoitteena on kannustaa hyödyntämään eurooppalaista rahoitusta sekä koota ja selkeyttää meriklusterin toimijoiden, elinkeinon ja sidosryhmien tutkimus- ja kehittämistarpeet. Esittelyssä ovat EU:n uuden tutkimus- ja innovaatio-ohjelman Horizon Europen valmistelu sekä suunnitellun uuden kumppanuusohjelman ”Zero Emission Waterborne Transport” esittely.

    Meriklusterin osallistuminen eurooppalaiseen valmisteluun on juuri nyt ajankohtaista.

    Ohjelmassa mainitun työpajaosuuden tavoitteena on määritellä Suomen meriklusterille oleelliset näkökulmat EU-valmisteluun ja mahdollisuuksien mukaan suunnitella osallistumistavat. Osallistujat valitsevat itseään kiinnostavan teeman.
